The aircraft carrier Akagi is now available in a 1/350 scale kit. It is a large-volume kit with a total length of 745mm when assembled. New facts were discovered during the development of the kit! The shape of the rear end of the hangar, the size and shape of the bottom keel, and the shape of the side armor plate fairing are designed based on new information. Please check the exact shape while assembling. The anti-aircraft guns, secondary guns, collapsible antenna masts, and rudder are movable. All three elevators can be selected to be raised or lowered one step. The searchlights are separate parts, and can be selected to be on the flight deck or stored. The aircraft are made of clear plastic, and include three Zero Fighters Type 21, three Type 99 Carrier Bomber Type 11, and six Type 97 Carrier Attack Planes. The spar parts on the underside of the flight deck are separate parts, allowing for precise expression using plastic parts. The branching parts at the base of the chimney, the detailed construction of the bridge, etc., all of these are expressed with high density through precise sculpting.
